The Erasmus+ project “Hydroponics, AI and IoT for Sustainable Education” continues to move forward with momentum. On May 5th, partners from across Europe met online to align on the next stages of the project and finalize details for the upcoming transnational meeting in Athens this July.
This virtual session gathered representatives from all institutions: Bulgaria (PAZ), Türkiye (BU and BCS), Greece (GP), Italy (LCT), and Portugal (Sucessos Criativos and AEAC). As always, the meeting opened with greetings and a reaffirmation of the shared commitment to innovation in education.
A significant announcement came from Manuel Russo (AEAC, Portugal), who confirmed that the project’s extension until August 2027 has officially been approved by the National Agency. This gives the partnership more time to deepen its impact, further develop training materials, and broaden the reach of hydroponics and digital education tools across European schools. Project funds are also expected to be transferred by May 10th, allowing planned activities to proceed without delay.
With just over two months to go, the team turned its attention to preparations for the July meeting in Greece. Following a productive discussion, the partners agreed to adjust the schedule to align with key lectures being held at the Athens University Summer School. The updated program now includes participation in the summer school on Monday and Thursday, with dedicated project work taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by a free day on Friday.
