On April 14th, partners of the Erasmus+ project “Hydroponics, AI and IoT for Sustainable Education” gathered online to discuss the organisation of the upcoming transnational meeting in Athens and review the current progress of the project.
The meeting was attended by representatives from all partner institutions: Maria Grancharska and Dessislava Tsokova (PAZ, Bulgaria), Murat Goksin Bakir (BU, Türkiye), Eirini Tsekou and Konstantina Gkioume (GP, Greece), Ayca Oztas (BCS, Türkiye), Michele Ventura (LCT, Italy), Fátima Pais (Sucessos Criativos, Portugal), and Manuel Russo and Maria Robalo (AEAC, Portugal).
A key point on the agenda was the coordination of logistics for the July meeting in Athens, which will take place from the 14th to the 18th. As flight and accommodation prices are already rising due to the high tourist season, all partners were encouraged to book their travel as soon as possible. A shared Google Drive folder was made available by the Greek team, containing a logistics document and a list of recommended hotels and safety guidance for accommodation in the city.
It was agreed that at least two representatives from each partner country should attend the July meeting in person. In preparation, a smaller coordination session involving Fátima Pais, Manuel Russo, and Murat Goksin Bakir is scheduled for April 17 to work on the project’s quality plan, scientific chapters, and the structure of the training sessions to be held in Greece. The group will also develop and circulate questionnaires to ensure schools have sufficient time to collect input and data.
During the meeting, project progress was briefly reviewed. All tasks were reported as completed, with the exception of the templates, which will be finalised shortly.
The next full coordination meeting is scheduled for May 5 at 16:00 (Portuguese time), where updates will be shared and preparation for the July event will continue.
